The Chaplains to His Lordship Most Rev Dr Mageean were Fr P Farry PP, Holywood

and Fr Raymond (Kearns) CP, Mount Argus.

The Chaplains to His Lordship Most Rev Dr Conway were Fr Denis (Kearns) CP, Ardoyne (brother of Fr Raymond above)

and Fr B O’Neill, Maynooth Mission.

A notable feature of the celebrations was the Gregorian Chant rendered by the choir conducted by the Sisters of St Louis.

The whole-hearted co-operation and generosity of the parishioners over the past one hundred years had made the wonderful progress detailed here possible.

As Canon McGrattan said on the occasion of the Centenary Celebrations:

It speaks well for the virility of the faith in Ballymena that it has given so many to the service of religion both at the altar and in the cloister’.
